We can measure quality in 2 ways:
- by the degree with which it satisfies our needs, in comparison with our expectations (it’s surprisingly simple or painless to use) -- product vs. expectations
- by comparison with the experience we’ve had with similar products. -- product vs. experience
Although I wouldn’t want to imply that there’s no connection between expectation and experience.

So you see, quality differs for all individual because quality is in the eye of the beholder. In order to perceive a goal or aim, one needs to understand what it is at first.Understanding is a quality and by understanding well, we can get more positive knowledge thus can contribute to the quality of life of a person.
However, quality itself is not as simple as it seems.
Quality is very complex because it is all interlink to other factors. Although we know that individuality is the reason for the existence of a quality, social norms also shapes this.
An example is that change of quality seen over product say, PSP. PSP used to be one of the hottest gadget foryouths like us but over time, our expectations grows and so does the quality in it and when now, PSP slim is born, the quality for PSP has deteriorated.
This is because, quality also changes over time.
Thank you.
